Music Makers – Poetry in Motion and Music Video – January 15, 2020 @ 2 PM – Postponed due to weather!

Wednesday, January 15, 2020 - 2:00pm

If you find yourself in a post-holiday slump, then the upcoming event in All Saints by-the-Sea Anglican Church may be just the tonic you need. The Anglican Parish of Salt Spring Island celebrated the 25th anniversary of All Saints at Thanksgiving in October 2019. Part of the celebrations was an evening concert titled Poetry in Motion and Music.
Music Makers, producer of the show, is inviting all those who missed the concert, or would like to see it again, to a video showing at All Saints on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 2 pm. Peter Prince, videographer, has beautifully captured the colour and humour of the concert which highlights some of the pieces performed at the evening of dance in 1994 when the building of All Saints Church was completed and celebrated. Included in the show also are many of the songs from the popular Music and Munch series and the Flower Festivals of the past. Featured dancers Sue Newman, Robbyn Scott, Lolla Devindisch and friends Jean McClure, Anke Smeele, Connie Holmes, Deb Toole, Mary Lowery and accompanist David Storm certainly enjoyed presenting this hour of uplifting entertainment.
Come and enjoy an afternoon of music and dance on the screen with your friends, followed by tea and treats.
Admission (including tea & treats) is by cash donation to support the work of Music Makers and the Tea à Tempo concert series which resumes on February 05, 2020.
