Sunset Wildlife Watch - Parks Canada

Primary tabs

Friday, August 16, 2019 - 8:00pm to 9:00pm

Discover the wildlife of the Salish Sea and relax into the peacefulness of an East Point sunset. Dress
warmly and bring blankets, chairs and flashlights. Enjoy the talents of musicians Trish DeJoseph and Flo
House with vocals and manolin, a storyteller performance by Dr. Lauren McWhinnie about the whales,
dolphins and porpoises of the Salish Sea, and a talk by a Parks Canada interpreter about restoration anxieties: saving
the contorted-pod evening-primrose. Meet out at the point (a five minute walk).
