Tea à Tempo – Kaizenjammers – Folk & Roots Blues – June 12, 2019 @ 2:10PM

Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - 2:00pm

Music Makers are very pleased to have Salt Spring’s trio Kaizenjammers return to the Tea à Tempo stage on Wednesday, June 12, at 2:10 PM in All Saints by-the-Sea Church in downtown Ganges.
John Reid, Michael Aronoff and Warren Langley are the Kaizenjammers. They have been together for about four years now, crossing musical boundaries all the time and making each tune their own. You’ll hear a bit of blues, folk, light jazz, old timey and a few original pieces to boot.
Their “sound” is quite unique as well. John plays acoustic guitar, melody harmonica and a drum kit made from luggage and toe shaker. Michael plays electric bass and acoustic guitar. Warren plays cross harmonica and theremin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theremin), often both at once. They all sing.
Their name Kaizen is a Japanese word for “continuous improvement” but some say it just doesn’t get any better than this. You will certainly enjoy listening as much as they love playing.
Concert begins at 2:10 pm. All donations are directed towards the honoraria of musicians and the running of the series.
Tea and Treats, for $3.00, are provided by the Anglican Caterers immediately following the concert.
So bring a friend or visitor to the Island, enjoy some toe-tapping music with this Salt Spring trio, and then have a delicious treat afterwards.
Food, friends, and music! What more could you ask for? Hope to see you there.
