Planted in 1999 on a century-old Salt Spring Island farm, Garry Oaks grows and bottles estate wines with care and intention. Seven acres of vineyard share the land with heirloom fruit trees and a namesake stand of Garry oaks. Since 2016, owner Nalini Samuel has built on the winery’s legacy with a new sparkling and dessert wine program—and a deep commitment to sustainability.

From energy and water conservation to large-scale composting, the vineyard operates with minimal environmental impact. All wines are made from grapes grown on-site using organic practices. Garry Oaks tracks its resource use and has a BC Environmental Farm Plan in place, guiding every step toward regenerative land stewardship.
