Valladares Fine Art

Through her work, artist Mayrena Valladares-Mills seeks to express the inexpressible, operating on the belief that visual art is ultimately completed by the observer, who imparts its final meaning. She explores the consciously unseen, unspoken, misunderstood, overlooked, and ignored—capturing those subtle unknowns that catch on the hooks of our subconscious. Ultimately, she weaves these raw expressions and abstractions with a sense of solitude, inviting a tranquil state of self-presence while confronting the universal inevitability of human alienation.
