The Southern Gulf Islands Tourism Partnership (SGITP) is the community destination management organization for Galiano, Mayne, Pender, Saturna, and Salt Spring Islands. We’re an independent, non-profit society led by a volunteer Board of Directors elected from the local tourism sector. Funded through the Municipal and Regional District Tax and accountable to Destination BC, our mandate goes beyond marketing the region. We manage tourism for it, balancing a healthy visitor economy against the wellbeing of the communities and environment that make the islands worth the trip. Support is open to every tourism business in the region. From funding and research to brand assets and industry news, the resources on this page are the place to start.
