Jessandra Phillips creates highly textured, ocean-inspired jewelry from her studio on Mayne Island in British Columbia’s Salish Sea. Her work began with the sea glass she found on the beaches of a small western Pacific island in 2003. Back in Canada, she studied silversmithing and taught herself metal clay, lost wax and sand casting. A beachcomber and collector at heart, she brings the textures and shapes of the ocean into every piece, along with sea glass, fossils and beautiful stones. Her jewelry is made for people who love to collect, feel close to nature and want to carry a reminder of the places they love.
