Day Trips

Step back in time as you sail aboard Providence, a historical tall ship. Join us for the day as we set sail from Port Sidney or Mill Bay this summer. Bring your own picnic and drinks if you would like, soak up the sun and wind and enjoy the water from a new perspective. Our welcoming and laid-back crew are ready to show you the ropes if you’re keen to help hoist sails or take the helm. 

Overnight Trips

Are you an Adventure Seeker? Sail with Providence as Guest Crew on one of our three day voyages around the Southern Gulf Islands. Departing every Tuesday morning from Port Sidney Marina our relaxing journey will take us to Pender and Saltspring islands. Take in the spectacular scenery of the Salish Sea and its abundant wildlife, visit local wineries and cideries and help sail Providence as we travel under full sail. 

History

The Providence is rich in history. Built in 1903 she is a classic working vessel that has spent her entire life plying the sea earning a living as a commercial fishing vessel, coastal freighter and charter vessel.
